I want to close down my shop. A few days ago, I made it official in my mind that Plugs By Mel on Etsy is going to close in the near future. No, I’m not going to have a “liquidation sale” or what ever you call it. Some day soon, I’m just going to disappear. However, you may find my assets for sale on eBay. I’m not sure when this is going to happen, but it will. At this point, it makes more sense for me to continue to run the shop until I have the time to close and start selling my assets. That’s a good solid 48 hours of work to do, and I just don’t have that time to spare right now. I value my time and I’m going to make sure I use it more efficiently.
This is my first blog post as an entrepreneur. I always get told that my idea is “brilliant.” I took a problem and I provided a solution. Yay me. As much as I love receiving positive feedback, I don’t think I received enough constructive criticism. I had to learn the hard way, that this idea kind of sucks. Yea, I have a very good idea going here and I’m the only person on Etsy who drills through tunnels and sells them at a very competitive price, I sell a good amount of them too, but they don’t see the numbers I see. Its ALMOST there. After seeing what other businesses are producing, almost isn’t good enough for me anymore. My target demographic is tool small and specific and I’m just so ready to move onto bigger and badder things.
